Hertford, UK – announced today that it has released a new calculator named the MacPherson Geometry Calculator as of March 5, 2014. The calculator as with all calculators remains free to use albeit with greater functionality available to registered users.

The calculator is used to design and analyse the characteristics of vehicular suspension when the vehicle and suspension is in motion. This kind of analysis tool is usually reserved for mechanical engineers within the automotive industry but Huw Davies believes there is a requirement for such tools within education and by the hobbyist car manufacturer / racer.

The Macpherson Geometry Calculator includes roll centre, instant centre and bump steer analysis as well as navigation aids such as zoom and pan. The suspension calculators (MacPherson and double wishbone) also support the input of data in ISO 8855 and SAE J670e formats.
