Ultima GTR modified using SGC
Racing Aspirations subscriber Stuart Kidgell used the Suspension Geometry Calculator to re-position his suspension mounting points and steering rack after lowering his Ultima GTR.
“I was already on the bump rubbers of the shocks which was a problem. I moved the suspension mounting points and used your suspension calculator to get the positions correct.” he said. He’s not worried about how this might be received in the GTR community as he already stands out as his car is powered by a twin turbo V6 Alfa engine rather than the a Chevy V8.
As well as the engine and suspension modifications he has also made “a lot of under body aero changes to get enough cooling to intercoolers and try to increase aero grip”.
His next event is in June at a fairly high profile time attack event in South Africa.
